Skilled Regional (Permanent) visa (Subclass 887)
Skilled Regional visa (subclass 887) is a permanent visa for people who have lived in the specified regional area of Australia.
This visa is the second stage giving permanent residence to holders of:
- Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 489)
- Skilled Independent Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 495)
- Skilled Designated Area Sponsored (Provisional) visa (subclass 496)
- Skilled Regional Sponsored visa (subclass 475 or 487)
Visa Requirements:
In order to apply for this visa, you must:
- Have lived for at least two years in a specified regional area of Australia.
- Have worked full time for 12 months in a specified regional area of Australia.
- Good health and character.
